Creating a Distinct Voice Within an Established Brand.
One of the biggest challenges was creating a website that felt connected to the established 9Marks brand while giving Church Centered Missions a distinct identity of its own. My goal was to build upon the trust and recognition of the parent organization while crafting a visual experience that reflected the ministry's emphasis on legacy, credibility, and thoughtful teaching.
Because the platform houses a wide range of content formats, accessibility and content discovery became key design priorities. Drawing inspiration from how Nike incorporates brands like Air Jordan and Converse within a unified ecosystem, I developed a design system that created a clear relationship to 9Marks while allowing Church Centered Missions to stand independently.
The result is a flexible, content-driven platform that balances sophistication with usability, making it easy for users to explore and engage with the ministry's growing library of resources.
